FAQ (Online Purchases)
Consumable purchases using UPS® Digital Connections subsidy are allowed only when purchased alongside any packaging systems. Additional consumables can be purchased with a credit card at the special discounted rate.
EQUIPMENT: All equipment carries a warranty for all parts and labor of one year from the date of shipment. The warranty covers all costs of parts and labor to either replace or repair the equipment. We warrant that all new equipment sold by us is free from defects in material and workmanship provided that it is given normal use and proper maintenance.
MATERIALS: We warrant that materials, other than lnstapak® products, sold by us will meet our product specifications and will be free from material defects in manufacture for a period of 90 days from shipment. We warrant that for a period of six months from shipment, lnstapak® products when used with compatible lnstapak® equipment and in accordance with our instructions, will, produce polyurethane foams that meet our foam specifications.
Service and Maintenance Support
Sealed Air will provide telephone and on-site support for one year from the date the order was shipped. An extended warranty is available for purchase on some systems. Check with your Sealed Air Technical Representative for details.
As a primary first step to solve any problems, Technical Phone Support is available Monday to Friday from 8 am to 7 pm EST, excluding holidays and support will be provided within 4 hours, typically sooner. Technical Support Phone Number: 800-243-1102.
If your problem could not be resolved remotely by phone, Sealed Air will schedule a representative to visit the customer’s location to resolve the issue. Unless covered by warranty, additional charges may apply for on-site visits. Service provided as part of the warranty period covers all costs of parts and labor to either replace or repair the equipment.
Procedures For Returns And Exchanges
Customer may return or exchange any defective Product. No claims will be recognized for goods disposed of or returned without written consent, and no shipping costs on returns will be paid unless previously authorized in writing. All sales are final. For return or exchange of any defective product, please contact customer service, who may schedule a visit by a Technical Packaging Specialist for evaluation and further instruction.
Lead Times and Expected Ship Date
**We are currently experiencing longer than normal lead times. Estimated delivery will be provided by our team on your order confirmation**
MATERIALS: Typically ship same-day or next business day, depending on time of day when order is received.
EQUIPMENT: Typically ships within 2 weeks from receipt of order confirmation.
All products purchased, returned or exchanged will ship UPS Ground shipping by default, however, you are permitted to upgrade to any expedited method of shipping provided by UPS by paying for the shipping using your UPS shipper number. Customers are responsible for shipping charges related to returns or exchanges.
Customer can request expedited shipping with the Sealed Air UPS Support Team who will check with the plant on availability. If the product is available, Sealed Air will initiate the expedited shipping condition using the customer's provided UPS shipper number.
Taxes And Shipping Costs
All applicable taxes and fees will be applied to the transaction between Sealed Air and the customer. Should the customer be exempt from any taxes or fees, it is their responsibility to submit the appropriate exemption documentation to Sealed Air.
